It's always exciting to anticipate the Academy Awards. Who's going to take home an Oscar? Who will be lucky enough to just be nominated? Who will get snubbed? With the Oscars coming up in a few short weeks (Feb. 24), ArtInsights Gallery is hosting a show dedicated to films that have won (or didn't win) Academy Awards. 

Being an animation and film art gallery, it's natural that ArtInsights has tons of art from films that have been honored with Oscars and some art from those that have unfortunately never received one. And that got us thinking about some of the interesting stories behind some films and their awards (or lack thereof). For instance, did you know that none of the Harry Potter films have ever won an Oscar? Crazy, I know. And did you know that none of the Star Wars prequels (Episode I, II, or III) have ever won an Oscar?...Not so crazy. Interesting facts like that.
